Gourmet heirloom corn snacks.
Pipcorn was born in 2012, when Jeff Martin was helping his sister, Jen move apartments. With everything packed up except a bag of tiny heirloom popcorn kernels that Jen found in the Chicago health food store where she worked, they popped batch after batch of the most delicious popcorn they’d ever had.
Together with Jeff’s wife, Teresa, they created Pipcorn, a purpose-driven, Black and woman-founded snack brand on a mission to clean up our childhood favorite snacks. Their popcorn, cheese balls, crunchies, corn dippers and upcycled snack crackers are made using only the highest-quality heirloom corn and real ingredients (no artificial anything!).
Pipcorn is on a mission to make a big impact with delicious snacks and by bringing more awareness to sustainable heirloom farming. Not only does their heirloom super corn prioritize quality and flavor (over yield and shelf stableness), it's higher in fiber and antioxidants and is sustainably grown on family farms supporting local and native agriculture.
