Sometimes gifts aren't for specific holidays or milestones, but a "just because" present can be just as special. When a team lead at Capital One was looking for a spring pick-me-up, she tapped Bold Xchange to find the products—and theme—that her team would appreciate. And the Spring Cleaning Gift Box was born.

THE CONCEPT

We were delighted to chat with a manager at Capital One looking for an employee recognition gift box for her team of 20. With a mid-April arrival date, she suggested a Spring Cleaning theme for this small token of appreciation.

Looking at our list of brand partners, we immediately suggested one cleaning item and one on-theme but non-cleaning product: a bottle of multi-surface cleanser from PUR Home and a Laundry Day candle from ElonWick Candle Co. Together, they create a perfect spring cleaning-themed gift—one item to get the job done and another to enjoy during the workday. 

THE EXECUTION

With the products secured, there was one more place to drive the theme home: the gift note. All of our gift boxes come with a customizable gift note that includes your special message on the reverse. For this, we went with a green, floral version of our standard Something Bold For You card, adding a subtle touch of spring.

On the reverse, we included the team's special note from their lead, plus one final touch. A QR code beneath the note led recipients to Spotify, where they could stream a spring cleaning playlist handpicked just for their team. 

With this small box, we were able to achieve a great gifting experience that was thoughtful and high-touch, from the products to the gift note to the experiential component. It's the kind of gift that bonds a group, whether colleagues are working across the country or across the hall.
