The Bold team loves a theme, especially when we can incorporate some STL favorites. So when the folks at Givebutter were looking for a quick-turnaround "Spooky Season" box, we were all too excited to get to work.

THE CONCEPT

We're proud to say this wasn't our first rodeo with Givebutter. They've been a great customer since we were first introduced by a longtime Bold champion. They reached out looking to create a Spooky Season box for team members to enjoy during a spooky tour with a virtual events company.

Caramel apple and pumpkin were thrown out as potential flavor profiles. As much as we love pumpkin spice, we were drawn to caramel apple—the nostalgic experience of biting into a sticky-crunchy-sweet treat felt like the right way to get in the mood for a haunted tour. 

THE EXECUTION

Once the main idea was figured out, we got to work scouring our brand partner network for gooey, apple-y options. What came together was a special feast for the senses, and a nice addition to their live event.

The final gift included a pack of stroopwafels (caramel-filled waffle cookies) from Finger-Lickin' Dutch, caramel apple popcorn from Pop Pop Hurray, and an apple cinnamon candle from Pure Perfection. We tied in the haunted element with the card, which read "Spooky Season Is Here 👻" with a custom message on the back.
